Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the TradeCrew mobile app, the TradeCrew web app at app.tradecrew.app, and this website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
1. Who can use TradeCrew
TradeCrew is a business tool for trade contractors. You must be at least 18 years old and use the Service for your business.
2. Your account
You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Google or Apple. Give us accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
3. What TradeCrew does
TradeCrew is software for managing your quotes, invoices, customers, jobs, time, expenses, and customer ratings, and for taking card payments on invoices through Stripe. You can also have AI draft a quote from a job description you type or dictate.
4. Fees
- TradeCrew is free to use. There is no subscription and no setup fee.
- When a customer pays one of your invoices by card through TradeCrew, we keep a 1.2% platform fee and transfer the rest of the payment to your Stripe account.
- Your customer pays the invoice total. The fee comes out of your payout and is not added to their bill.
- Payments you collect outside TradeCrew, such as cash or check, carry no TradeCrew fee.
5. Payments and Stripe
Card payments are processed by Stripe. To accept them, you set up a Stripe account for a business in the United States through TradeCrew and give Stripe the identity and bank details it asks for. Stripe's own terms apply to your Stripe account, and Stripe controls when payouts reach your bank. You are responsible for your dealings with your customers, including the work, your prices, and any refunds.
6. Your content and your customers
You own the content you put into TradeCrew, such as your customers, quotes, invoices, and job records. You let us store, process, and send that content as needed to run the Service, including through the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for that content being accurate, for having the right to add your customers' details, and for contacting customers only about work you are quoting or doing for them.
7. AI drafts
AI quote drafting is optional. A draft is a starting point: check the line items and prices before you send a quote, because you are responsible for what you send.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use TradeCrew to:
- break the law or help someone else do so;
- send spam, or send quotes, invoices, or rating requests to people you are not doing business with;
- create fake ratings or impersonate someone else;
- try to get into other people's accounts or data, or disrupt the Service.
9. Suspension and deletion
You can delete your account at any time; see Delete your account for how and what is removed. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. A suspended account cannot sign in, and its data is kept.
10. Changes to the Service and these terms
TradeCrew is under active development, and the iOS and Android apps are in beta. Features may change, and we can't promise the Service will always be available or free of errors, so keep your own copies of anything important. When we change these terms, we will update the "Last updated" date above. If you keep using the Service after a change, the new terms apply.
